Yes, absolutely. The program, including registration and training, is 100% free with no hidden charges or fees of any kind.
SCOA is an initiative powered by Flipkart, one of India’s leading e-commerce companies. Additionally, SCOA programs are recognized by the NCVET, meaning the Government of India has officially approved our assessment and certification standards.
SCOA was launched in 2021 and has trained over 1,50,000 people across India since then.
You should have completed Class 10, or ITI or Diploma, or Class 12.

You will need the following: Aadhaar card, PAN card, bank account details, a passport-size photograph, proof of education, address proof such as a voter ID, ration card, or utility bill, and a Covid vaccination certificate showing both doses.
Yes. You need a basic smartphone with internet access to complete the digital learning part of the programme.
Go to flipkartacademy.com and click on the registration link for the programme you want to join. Fill in your details and submit. It takes only a few minutes.
There is no interview. You will need to appear for a short online pre-assessment test. A mock test is available on the website to help you prepare. You need to score 60 percent or more to qualify.
Depending on the programme you choose, the training is between 50 and 52 days in total.
Learn on Your Terms: Our digital learning phase combines live instructor support with self-paced content like simulations and videos. Master the curriculum and clear your final assessment from anywhere—giving you total control over when and where you study.
On-the-Job Training (OJT) or Industry Exposure is your gateway to real-world experience. During this phase, you will be immersed in a live Flipkart facility, performing core e-Commerce operational tasks alongside seasoned professionals. It’s an invaluable opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced environment and learn directly from the experts.
Yes. To support your professional development, a stipend is provided throughout the entire On-the-Job Training (OJT) or Industry Exposure period.
We strive to keep your training convenient. SCOA operates in more than 30 cities across India, and we match candidates to nearby Flipkart facilities whenever and wherever possible. Once you complete the digital learning phase and final assessment, your trainer will confirm your specific OJT or Industry Exposure location.
While the full SCOA experience includes hands-on training or OJT, we understand that travel may not be possible for everyone. In such cases, you can still complete the digital portion of the course to earn your Digital Learning Certificate. Please note that the comprehensive “OJT or Industry Exposure” certification is only awarded to those who complete the physical OJT.
Upon successful completion of the “Regular Training Programme,” you will be awarded an official certificate from SCOA and Flipkart. For candidates enrolled in our “NCVET Training Programmes,” you will receive a specialized certificate co-branded by NCVET (Under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship) and Flipkart, providing you with nationally recognized industry credentials.
SCOA focuses on building your professional capability. While we do not guarantee employment, our comprehensive training and hands-on Industry Exposure are designed to meet the high demands of the e-Commerce ecosystem. Many of our alumni are currently thriving in roles at Flipkart and throughout the broader e-commerce sector, proving the value of the SCOA certification.
